Free Breakfast at Chick-fil-a

Chick-Fil-A believes that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. In order to get more people to eat that valuable first dish, they are offering a free breakfast for everyone who uses the online reservation system during the week of September 6 from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. every day.

Unfortunately, the idea of a free, delicious meal from Chick-Fil-A has crashed their system, which has lead to angry -- and hungry -- customers who want that succulent chicken.

To cash in on this deal, visit their official site. But remember, even though this meal is free, it might cost you nutritionally. You might want to opt for the oatmeal instead, but who can turn down the signature chicken breakfast biscuit.

Kneaders Bakery and Café Now Open In Layton, Utah

by PR or News Wire
Kneaders Bakery and Café, a Utah-based restaurant franchise that specializes in serving gourmet sandwiches, soups, salads, pastries and European hearth breads baked daily in the on-site hearthstone ovens, officially opened its new location in Layton, Utah on Aug. 26, 2011. The new restaurant is located at 480 W. Antelope Drive and the hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Overstock.com Opens Outlet Store

From UB

O.co, aka Overstock.com, the Salt Lake City-based online discount retailer, opened a new outlet store at 8550 S. 1300 E., in Sandy. In conjunction with the opening of the Sandy store, O.co will no longer operate its warehouse store at 955 S. 3800 W.

The store held its grand opening Saturday, Aug. 27. The store will be open Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (these hours are subject to change based on store traffic). The store is approximately 18,000 square feet, and has over 1,000 different products that change almost weekly. These products may include furniture, electronics, home decor, apparel, art, bedding and more .

"The products in our outlet store will be priced well below O.co’s already discounted prices. In fact, these products will be priced below O.co’s first cost. Shoppers at the store should be able to find some amazing bargains,” said O.co President Jonathan Johnson.

Items sold at the outlet store will not be available for delivery. The store will be staffed by 10 O.co employees.

All sales are final, and Overstock will accept cash and major credit and debit cards only. Checks will not be accepted. Customers will not be able to pick up items that have been purchased online at the outlet store.

Follow-Up on Restraunts

Thanks to Elisha, I have found out a few restraunts at Station Park, Johnny Rockets, Settebello's Pizzeria Napoletana, Parkstone - Wood Kitchen and Bar, and more.  Talking to another source I hear Cheesecake Factory IS coming, but sadly not in Phase I.

I have included some of the article from UB here:

“To the south of Harmons, additional stores such as Sally Beauty Supply, Famous Footwear and Chase Bank are scheduled to open their doors in September of this year,” said Bruning. “Then in October we expect to unveil a new-to-Utah surf and skate clothing retailer, Tilly’s.”

The new XD Cinemark Theatre complex that opened in July on the site will have some company very soon as well. Filling the spaces on both sides will be an upscale burger restaurant, Johnny Rockets; locally-owned Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana; ParkStone - Wood Kitchen & Bar; a sushi restaurant and more. These restaurants will feature innovative dining terraces that provide unobstructed views of the center regardless of the weather, with retractable weatherproof glass walls.

“We’re very committed to providing a one-of-a-kind gathering place for families,” said Bruning. “So, not only are we creating a unique shopping and dining experience, but we’ve recently broken ground on our park and commons area just north of Cinemark, which we anticipate will be completed in time for the holiday shopping season.”

Bruning said the park will include a children’s play area and a $2 million, world-class fountain with animation, music, dancing waters, lighting and even fog. Designers from Lifescapes International, who were the visionaries behind the gardens and fountains at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas and The Grove in Los Angeles, have partnered with CenterCal to bring the park fountain and gardens to life in fall 2011.

The size and scope of the fountain attraction is just one example of CenterCal’s commitment to building a first-class venue. Visitors will be able to see that carried out further in the details including stone paving, outdoor lighting fixtures imported from Italy and first-class finishes. The project landscaping that is already starting to take shape includes mature trees and foliage so that the community will be able to enjoy the park immediately.

The completion of Station Park’s 425,000 square foot Phase I will be celebrated in time for the holiday season with a ribbon cutting event in November. The community can expect to attend a live Christmas tree lighting ceremony in the newly-created park and bring their kids to see a real-bearded Santa Claus in a festive, locally-made Santa House set up for the season. An ice skating arena will also debut for the holidays, and will be an annual feature. The park will serve as a site for exciting events throughout the year including summer concerts and live entertainment.

Restaurants at Station Park

I called Centercal because of the rumors I had heard about Cheesecake Factory, Zuppas, and Cafe Rio possible coming to Station Park.  Their response was that they "could not confirm nor deny anything".  :(
